This place has the buzz. Situated in the South End, with the atmosphere of an artist's studio, you feel as if you're attending a great dinner party. Relax and take in the sounds of jazz and sip on a martini or a glass of wine. The food is fabulously yummy with fare from Moroccan to Italian, making any craving satisfied here. The best thing about this place, other than its funky vibe and hip atmosphere? It's open late. Get your food on until 2am, nightly.
The Beehive will be hosting a Santa Christmas Brunch on Sat. Dec. 20th from 11:30am-3pm. There will be carol singers and photos with Santa. Families are welcome!

Initiated in 1965 with the purchase of a Tremont St. block, the Boston Center for the Arts is the largest non-profit organization dedicated to supporting all types of artists in their creative endeavors. This 4-acre complex houses the Mills Gallery, The Cyclorama, the Calderwood Pavillion, 2 rehearsal spaces and artist studios open to public viewing. The theaters host a frequently changing array of contemporary performances; check the website calendar for upcoming events.

CompanyOne is one of "Boston's best fringe theatre" according to the Improper Bostonian. CompanyOne is currently performing at the Boston Center for the Arts at the Calderwood Pavillion in the South End of Boston. According to their website, "Company One redefines the typical theatrical experience by developing, producing, and promoting socially relevant plays and innovative educational programming that appeal to, represent and include Boston’s diverse urban communities." CompanyOne prides themselves on teaching the under-35 population of Boston-and strives to teach cutting edge theatre to young adults and individuals. The Cyclorama, erected in 1884, is the signature building of the Boston Center for the Arts. It hosts various kinds of performances
throughout the year and houses the Community Music Center of Boston, the Art Connection, the Boston Ballet Costume Shop, three small theaters, and a rehearsal studio.

City Stage Company is located within the Boston Center for the Arts complex in the South End. City Stage Company's mission is to bring theatre arts to the community-family oriented programs allow children to be involved in theatre, as well as see theatre performances. The company is well known for it's daily show offered at Boston Children's Museum. The City Stage Company also works to serve needy communities throughout the metro and greater Boston area. The performances encourage audience participation, as professional actors create fun and engaging ways to bring young people into the fun.
Educating: City Stage Co. offers free, intensive performing arts education programs for urban kids during the school day and after school. Students develop critical thinking skills, a sense of teamwork, discipline, and creativity - and they have fun. More than 2,000 kids participate in the education programs each year.

SpeakEasy Stage Company has recently been awarded the Pavilion Resident Theatre for the Boston Center for the Arts. SpeakEasy Stage Co. is known for its Boston premieres of plays and musicals fresh from Broadway and Off-Broadway. The company is located within the BCA campus on Tremont St in the South End. The mission of The Theatre Offensive is, "To form and present the diverse realities of queer lives in art so bold it breaks through personal isolation and political orthodoxy to help build an honest, progressive community." This company was founded in 1989 by Abe Rybeck(an actor himself). Originally a gay men's theatre group, The Theatre Offensive was called the "United Fruit Company."
